The timetable
A class costs 15 credits, or €13 when you book ahead instead of €15 on the door. See the credit packs.
The four levels follow one another on the same evening, from 19:00 to 22:30. That is deliberate: you can take your class and then stay for the practica, and people who progress do not have to change evening.
The beginner class is taught by Ahmedy and Caro. Ahmedy founded Latin Dance Evolution in 2016; Caroline has taught salsa and bachata with him since 2019, in Belgium and abroad.
Absolute beginner — the very start. Footing, the count, and enough to get through a whole dance.
Beginner — the basics are there, we build the repertoire.
Intermediate — leading, turns, and playing with the music.
Practica — no instruction, the room is open and people dance.
Partners rotate during the class. You do not need anyone to start, and it is in fact the better way to learn: leading or following with ten different people teaches you faster than always the same one.
